Two jet men, actually, doing some formation flying with the world’s largest jetliner in the hazy skies over Dubai.

Whats the stall speed of an A380? seems like both the jet men and the A380 would both be at their upper and lower limits respectively to make this work. Also, sure puts into perspective just how big the A380 is.

I have no idea what the stall characteristics are for the A380. I’m sure you noticed that, for all the shots with the wingmen, the 380 had flaps and slats fully extended, very likely going as slow as it could (safely).

The A380 has a landing speed of 140kts but can probably go a little slower in a pinch.

Depends on weight but an A380 can land at 130 knots if that’s any help.

I bet you couldn’t get the FAA to agree to a stunt like that.

I bet you're right.

Google says 130-140 knots, which is roughly 150-161 mph.
